Unifree Duty Free has been a leading operator of duty-free shops since 1984, renowned for its unwavering commitment to service quality. With duty-free shops scattered across various locations, including Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Bodrum, Gazipasa, Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Skopje, Ohrid, Tunisia, Riga, Madinah, Salalah, and even Houston Airport since 2015, Unifree faced the challenge of managing an extensive array of data sources spread across different countries.
Finding relevant and up-to-date information from this diverse and scattered data proved to be a significant obstacle for Unifree. However, their search for a solution led them to GEODI, and they embarked on an Enterprise search project to address their data management needs effectively. With the implementation of GEODI, Unifree's employees now enjoy seamless access to a unified platform, enabling them to search for keywords, specific time intervals, document types, and even document names within seconds.
Maintaining data security was a vital aspect of this project, and GEODI played a crucial role in ensuring that Unifree's users could only access documents from their own PCs, email boxes, and authorized shared folders. Moreover, GEODI's advanced NLP (Natural Language Processing) capabilities enabled users to identify similar and duplicate files, streamlining the search process further.
With the newfound ability to swiftly locate the right files when needed, Unifree has experienced a substantial improvement in decision-making efficiency. Their teams can now make faster, more accurate, and precise business decisions, empowering the company to stay ahead of the competition.
